Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Colorado is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to stand up the internal AI tools platform and governance. You will build, ship, and maintain productivity tools for engineers and create AI agents and automation integrated with our product teams.

You'll partner with Security and IT, own access controls, define metrics, and drive adoption across multiple squads. This role requires a hands-on engineering background and strong collaboration skills, based in the Denver/Boulder area with

Qualifications

Strong software engineering background enabling platform enablement.
Experience with multi-agent AI development and orchestration.
Knowledge of AI evaluation and prompt engineering best practices.
Experience with AI security and governance in internal tooling.
Track record delivering large, largely autonomous projects.
Ability to design reusable platform abstractions and balance flexibility.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain internal AI productivity tools and the platform.
Design, build, and operate internal AI agents and automations.
Define productivity metrics and evaluate tools against them.
Own AI governance for internal tooling and access controls.
Partner with Security and IT to enable AI tooling adoption and alignment.
Manage identity and access for AI agents as for human users.
Lead training and enablement sessions for engineers and PMs.
Track adoption and measure outcomes to improve the platform.
Collaborate with teams building AI-powered product features without owning their roadmap.
