Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to own the design, implementation, and governance of AI across the employee environment. You will be the technical owner for AI tools used every day, ensuring safe adoption by embedding guardrails into the platform through identity, device, and tenant-level controls.

This composite role blends production software and SRE engineering, hands-on LLM/agent work, and enterprise IT controls across identity, devices, and SaaS.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or IT systems engineering building and running systems in code.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with LLM-based products: API integration, prompt/tool design, agent frameworks, or enterprise administration.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript with deployed services.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of employee-facing AI platforms: evaluation, procurement support, tenant design, rollout, configuration management, and ongoing operations.
• Establish AI operating framework for IT: intake/review for new tools, standards for internal bots, runbooks, and enablement content.
• Design and implement AI guardrails as enforceable controls with Enterprise Security and IT Identity/Access.
• Operate IT-owned AI infrastructure, including gateway, identity, secrets, and IAM policies, with observability and cost attribution.
• Instrument usage, cost, quality, and risk telemetry; build dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Serve as senior escalation point for AI tooling issues and communicate with executives and partners.
