Job summary

Stord, the Consumer Experience Company, is hiring an AI-focused Senior Software Engineer to integrate AI capabilities into our cloud-based logistics platform in Atlanta. You will build backbone services and real-time features that expose AI capabilities to product teams.

Work with Dir of AI Products, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to deploy models, run inference, and ensure reliability at scale. This hands-on role shapes how AI serves logistics workflows across our platform.

Qualifications

• Expert in Elixir/Phoenix building scalable systems.
• Proficient in TypeScript and multi-language stacks.
• Strong distributed systems and OTP knowledge.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Extensive PostgreSQL querying and tuning.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Cloud platform experience (GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build Elixir services integrating ML predictions from multiple platforms.
• Design real-time data pipelines with Kafka to feed ML models.
• Develop AI-enabled features for demand planning and routing.
• Ensure fault-tolerance, observability, and scalable platform architecture.
• Collaborate with AI leaders, data scientists, and engineers.
