Palo Alto Networks is seeking a software engineer to design and implement security posture–related features across the full development lifecycle in a cloud-native environment. You will work with Golang and Python, operate within GCP/AWS infrastructures, and leverage AI tools to boost productivity while maintaining strong observability and CI/CD practices.

The role involves end-to-end development, collaboration with senior engineers, and occasional on-call responsibilities to support production

Qualificações

• Strong programming and scripting skills (Golang, Python, etc).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud environments (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable).
• Hands-on experience developing and operating cloud-based services.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools and agents to improve productivity across research, design, implementation, and operational support activities.
• Experience with observability frameworks and operational monitoring for cloud-native services (metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting).

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end development of security posture–related features from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and operate independently when needed.
• Participation in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Coordinate with PLM and QA teams to ensure timely releases and quality.
