Job summary

Init seeks a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of its AI Enablement team. The role designs, builds, and scales AI solutions from POC to production, collaborating with the AI Enablement Lead and mentoring the AI Developer.

You’ll architect AI infrastructure, integrate with Azure AI Foundry, manage LLM orchestration, and help govern data handling and security while guiding cross‑functional IT efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML/AI engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, including API integrations, prompt engineering, and RAG architecture.
• Proficiency with Python and relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI preferred) and on-prem deployments (containers).
• Familiarity with open-source LLM orchestration tools and self-hosted LLM frontends.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and integration patterns.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/LLM-based solutions for internal business optimization use cases.
• Architect and maintain AI infrastructure, including integrations with Azure AI Foundry, open-source LLM orchestrators, and self-hosted LLM frontends.
• Lead technical POC development and ensure smooth transitions to production.
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, and solution architecture.
• Implement governance around data handling, security basics, and documentation.
• Mentor the AI Developer on technical implementation and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure solutions meet organizational standards.
• Document architecture, processes, and technical decisions clearly.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies for internal use.
