Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and build AI-native agentic workflows that enhance engineering productivity, observability, and automated reliability across the Teradata AI Platform.

You will lead development of AI agents, integrate LLMs into production workflows, and collaborate with platform teams to embed automation into CI/CD and DevOps, shaping the future of Teradata's AI-powered platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with AI/ML in production.
• Proven experience building AI agents/LLM systems or autonomous workflows.
• Strong Python and at least one of Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills including prompt engineering and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows.
• Build AI agents and autonomous workflows across telemetry and applications.
• Architect AI agents for observability and MTTR improvements.
• Design workflows across telemetry pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging.
• Drive AI-native development practices across apps and platform engineering.
• Embed automation into CI/CD, DevOps, and support workflows.
