Teradata Corporation is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to lead the design and deployment of AI-native agentic workflows across its AI Platform. You will architect systems that reason, analyze, and act over telemetry data, apps, and workflows, driving engineering productivity and reliability.

The role demands 8+ years in software engineering with production AI/ML, strong Python and Java/Go skills, and hands-on experience with observability stacks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python (required) and Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills: prompt engineering, model evaluation, agent orchestration, reasoning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows to boost engineering productivity and observability.
• Architect and build AI agents for observability, root-cause analysis, anomaly detection, and MTTR improvements.
• Design agentic workflows across telemetry pipelines, app stacks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI-driven tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce toil.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging and diagnostics.
