Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/ML systems.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python and at least one of Java/Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills including prompt engineering, model evaluation, and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native workflows to boost engineering productivity and observability across Teradata's AI Platform.
• Senior IC building AI-driven agents that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, apps, and workflows.
• Architect AI agents for observability, automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and productivity optimization.
• Design agentic workflows across telemetry pipelines, apps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build AI tooling to accelerate development, reduce toil, and improve MTTR.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging and diagnostics.
• Drive AI-native development practices across apps, tooling, platform engineering.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed automation into CI/CD, DevOps, and support workflows.
• Apply foundational AI skills to boost productivity, innovation, and impact across our workforce.
• Shape how Teradata builds and operates its AI-powered platform for reliability and autonomy.
