Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and deploy AI-native agentic workflows across telemetry pipelines, applications, and cloud infrastructure. You will advance AI-powered observability, automate debugging, and raise engineering productivity while integrating across CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

The role emphasizes building autonomous AI systems, working with Python, and delivering observable, reliable outcomes in production environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with AI/ML in production environments.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python and at least one of Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills, including prompt engineering and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows to enhance engineering productivity and observability across Teradata’s AI Platform.
• Architect and build AI agents for observability, automated root cause analysis, and MTTR improvement.
• Design agentic workflows across telemetry pipelines, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI-driven tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce toil.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging and diagnostics.
• Drive AI-native development practices across apps, tooling, and platform engineering.
