Job summary

Coxvi Technologies seeks a hands-on Chief Engineer Artificial Intelligence to define AI architecture, set engineering standards, and oversee production-ready AI solutions. You will lead LLM/RAG initiatives, ensure secure integration across products, and drive reusable AI capabilities across teams.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ in practical AI/ML, strong Python/API skills, and experience with vector DBs and orchestration frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with 5+ years in practical AI/ML engineering.
• Proven track record moving AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Strong Python and API development skills, ideally FastAPI.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Qdrant, Milvus or Weaviate.
• Familiarity with LangChain and similar orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to AWS-based microservices, databases, queues, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and production support.

Responsibilities

• Define AI engineering strategy, architecture, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead production AI initiatives from use-case to deployment.
• Build reusable AI services, APIs, pipelines, and platform components.
• Establish development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support practices.
• Design LLM apps, RAG solutions, and governance for sensitive use cases.
• Mentor AI/ML engineers, data engineers, and app teams.
