Job summary

Publicis Digital Experience seeks a Principal Engineer, AI/ML & Cloud to serve as the top technical authority for customer-facing AI capabilities and the cloud platform powering them.

You will define reference architecture for Generative and Agentic AI, establish engineering standards, and mentor engineers across AI/data science and platform teams while delivering the most impactful components in production.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience across ML engineering, data engineering, and large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and shipping Generative/Agentic AI in production.
• Track record as a Principal-level individual contributor setting direction and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for the AI platform from data foundations to model serving and orchestration.
• Define reference architectures, engineering standards, and paved-path patterns for AI and platform teams.
• Lead high-stakes build/buy decisions and document framework choices for leadership review.
• Guide design of new AI capabilities for the marketing platform per business strategy.
• Set engineering standards for development environment, tooling, and AI workflows across teams.
• Collaborate with QA, product, data science and production support to bring AI features to market.
