Job summary

TeamViewer seeks a Software Architect to define the technical direction for its AI platform and ecosystem capabilities. You will design enterprise-grade AI solutions, drive architecture reviews, and mentor engineering teams to ensure security, reliability, and scalable performance.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security to balance innovation with customer value while maintaining governance and long-term maintainability in a fast-growing environment. Austin-based role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with architecture & distributed systems experience.
• Hands-on Python and cloud-native app development.
• Experience delivering AI-powered applications/platforms at scale.
• Ability to guide large-scale architecture initiatives across teams.
• Strong security, governance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture for TeamViewer's AI platform and ecosystem capabilities.
• Establish architectural standards and best practices for AI-powered products, integrations, and platform services.
• Design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that support enterprise-grade AI experiences.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance across multiple engineering teams.
• Define approaches for testing, evaluation, observability, and monitoring to ensure quality and reliability.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, and security teams to balance innovation, customer value, and risk management.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects while fostering engineering excellence across the organization.
• Drive strategic technology decisions related to AI platforms, integrations, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
