Job summary

Etech Partners is seeking a Senior AI Operations Manager to own the production AI platforms, overseeing reliability, monitoring, incidents, SLAs and DevOps. The role is primarily remote with on-site attendance 2-3 times per month in Birmingham or London.

You will lead operational performance across AI/analytics platforms, coordinate offshore teams, manage cloud APIs, security and governance, and drive the model lifecycle and incident response with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience operating AI, analytics or technology platforms in production.
• Solid DevOps experience, including CI/CD, monitoring and incident management.
• Understanding of AI/ML, including generative AI and model lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs and enterprise architectures.
• Microsoft AI experience, ideally Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot.
• Knowledge of AI security, governance and responsible AI.
• Experience leading or coordinating offshore/distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Typically 5+ years' technology operations experience, with 2+ years in AI/advanced analytics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational performance, reliability and continuous improvement of enterprise AI platforms.
• Oversee monitoring, incidents, SLAs and DevOps processes.
• Coordinate offshore/distributed teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure security, governance and lifecycle management for AI models.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to keep platforms resilient.
