Job summary

Wind River is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) and AI Governance Program across the enterprise. You will drive policy, compliance, and lifecycle governance for OSS and AI technologies, partnering with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering teams to maximize business value while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, CS or related technical field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, program management, governance or leadership roles.
• 5+ years of people management leading technical/compliance teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSS licensing (GPL, LGPL, Apache, MIT, BSD).
• Experience building or leading an OSPO or governance function.

Responsibilities

• Lead OSPO governance across multiple product lines, ensuring license compliance and third‑party obligations.
• Lead AI governance program, developing policies, controls and risk management practices.
• Manage governance analysts and engineering teams delivering platforms and automation.
• Provide executive reporting on governance effectiveness, compliance posture, and risk.
