Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead network design and deployment for AI infrastructure projects. The role offers opportunities to implement automation, security, and scalable networks across data centers and cloud connections.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, mentoring engineers and contributing to a long-term, large-scale roadmap while interfacing with partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as network engineering or CS.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience focused on AI infrastructure.
• Experience in Linux systems and host network configuration.
• Strong project management and ability to handle complex technical projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel internationally or domestically for deployments.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet, RoCE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for AI deployments.
• Develop Network as Code and automation pipelines (IaC, CI/CD).
• Enforce network security policies and collaborate with security teams.
• Provide operations support and vendor coordination for outages and scale.
• Manage projects and coordinate with global teams to meet SLAs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.
• Maintain expertise in cutting-edge AI network technologies and hardware.
