Job summary

EY’s Office of the CTO seeks senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team. You will design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with strategic clients, owning delivery end-to-end in highly regulated settings.

You’ll balance hands-on coding with solution shaping, collaborating with platform, security, governance, and architecture teams to ensure auditable, trustworthy production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write production-quality code (e.g., LangGraph, Python) per enterprise standards.
• Explain tradeoffs to stakeholders balancing functionality, safety, and cost.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and governance compliance.
