Job summary

AT&T in Dallas seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver modern digital platforms with a focus on AI-assisted development, Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic tools to accelerate software delivery and improve code quality. This is an onsite role located at Two AT&T Plaza in Dallas.

You will build scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, or Go, and work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB while ensuring security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing and deploying enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in a modern backend technology stack: Java / Spring Boot, Python / FastAPI / Django, Go, Node.js.
• Hands-on experience building microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Demonstrated expertise using AI-assisted development tools in a professional engineering environment.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, PyTest, Mockito, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of API architectures including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar database technologies.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka or JMS.
