Job summary

STLabs is an AI-native enterprise platform powering ITSM and intelligent workflows. We seek a Senior Software Engineer who codes deeply and shapes the future of AI-augmented engineering in a hands-on role.

Lead backend and full-stack delivery, architect scalable services, and drive AI/LLM integration across product pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Midtown Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend systems and API design with real SaaS production experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or C++ and designing distributed systems.
• Frontend fluency with React, Vue, or Angular and UI integration with backend.
• Experience with NoSQL and graph databases or similar storage.
• Cloud platforms, containers, and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Problem-solving mindset in high-velocity startup environments.
• Bonus: experience integrating AI/LLM features or enterprise workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end features and systems from architecture and implementation to deployment.
• Design AI-native services embedding LLMs and reasoning into workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to infuse AI-powered intelligence.
• Drive architectural decisions balancing rapid experimentation with long-term scalability.
• Develop backend services, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and core data infrastructure.
• Build frontend features connecting UI with backend across the stack.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Emphasize security and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001) from the start.
