Job summary

EY in the United States seeks senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team. You will embed with client teams to deliver AI-native systems in regulated environments, owning end-to-end delivery and production-grade code.

You will work closely with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners to ensure auditable, trusted deployments and provide real-world, business-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code operating under compliance and performance constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines with stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity, and FinOps requirements.
• Capture learnings and provide feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable repeatable delivery patterns.
