Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team modernizing trusted market-ready AI/ML tools. You will build end‑to‑end translation pipelines, agentic workflows, and robust verification for migrated financial calculations.

The role emphasizes production‑level Python development, AI tooling, and secure, scalable cloud architectures. Collaboration with domain SMEs will drive prompt strategies and governance across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications with agentic architectures and RAG pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, API design, testing, and cloud platforms (AWS/EKS/ECS).
• Expert proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Strong Python production experience and ability to operate complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Builds and operates pipelines ingesting COBOL/JCL/DB2 artifacts and prepares structured specs.
• Designs multi-agent systems for translating legacy logic to Kotlin/JVM with orchestration layers.
• Creates automated parity and regression test suites to validate migrations.
• Extends the calculation runtime and ensures deterministic, auditable execution.
• Collaborates with domain SMEs to validate outputs and refine prompts and strategies.
• Extends ETL and CDC pipelines for end-to-end migrated workflows.
• Manages LLMOps: deployment, monitoring, and cost management for 24/7 operation.
• Shoots for rapid iteration with instrumented experiments and data-driven decisions.
