Job summary

Databricks is seeking an AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect to lead the advanced technical strategy for AI/ML deployments, owning architecture discussions, and driving platform adoption with customers. This role can be remote, with travel up to 30% as needed.

You will collaborate with customer tech leads, design scalable, production-grade solutions across AI/ML, including RAG, vector databases, and guardrails; mentor teams, and influence product direction through customer feedback.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical pre-sales or hands-on role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with ability to live-code, debug and build solutions.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and cloud-native data platforms.
• Proficient with Databricks Platform and developing technical specialization.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI/ML technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment.
• Lead architecture discussions for scalable, production-grade AI/ML solutions (RAG, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration).
• Serve as trusted advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.
• Drive platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SAs, Partners) to deliver complex solutions.
• Provide structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps to influence product direction.
