Job summary

Snowflake seeks an experienced Principal Solutions Architect - AI/ML to guide customers in expanding AI/ML workloads on the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will architect Snowflake-centric solutions, build AI/ML pipelines, and deliver hands-on POCs using SQL and Python, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and enabling customers to extend Snowflake capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in pre-/post-sales technical roles.
• Outstanding skills presenting to technical and executive audiences.
• Thorough understanding of generative AI lifecycle: ingestion, vector embedding, llm selection, genAI monitoring.
• Thorough understanding of ML lifecycle: feature engineering, model development, deployment, management.
• Strong AI/MLOps understanding for deploying and monitoring models and agents.
• Experience with at least one public cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms such as AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, Vertex AI, AzureML, Dataiku, Datarobot.
• Hands-on scripting with SQL and at least one of Python, Java or Scala.
• Experience with Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn, LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex.
• University degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical expert on Snowflake AI/ML workloads and provide best practices.
• Architect Snowflake-centric AI/ML solutions for Services Delivery engagements.
• Design, deploy, and operate AI/ML pipelines using Snowflake features and ecosystem.
• Build POCs with SQL, Python, Cortex AI features to demonstrate techniques.
• Ensure knowledge transfer so customers can extend Snowflake capabilities.
• Stay informed on competitive technologies and Snowflake positioning.
