Job summary

CoachMePlus is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to lead the integration of AI/ML capabilities into our platform, leveraging cloud-native architectures, serverless backends, and scalable microservices. The role blends frontend and backend work, with PHP 8.x, React ecosystem, and AWS, and requires US citizenship and a government security clearance in process.

Remote-friendly with an eye for occasional in-person collaboration near Buffalo, NY; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Frontend: React, React Native, Polymer, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Backend & Services: PHP 8.x (Symfony) and RESTful APIs, MySQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB), Terraform, Git, Jenkins CI.
• Security: Experience in secure, federally regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy AI/ML features using cloud services, including generative AI workflows and RAG.
• Develop serverless backends and microservices interfacing with ML models.
• Optimize data pipelines and SQL/NoSQL queries for high-performance inference.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and mentor junior engineers.
• Lead full-stack work integrating AI/ML into PHP backend and frontend apps.
