Job summary

Seed Series Startup in the nuclear energy space is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will own features end-to-end from database to UI and help build data ingestion and search infrastructure.

This fully remote, US-based role requires a US citizenship; travel to US destinations quarterly for in-person meetings is mentioned.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional full-stack experience with end-to-end feature ownership.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL.
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with frontend applications.
Solid understanding of databases, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend components using Python/Node.js/TypeScript.
Build scalable data ingestion and search infrastructure.
Identify and address performance issues for optimal speed and responsiveness.
Design scalable backend systems for high performance across environments.
Collaborate with product, AI, and infrastructure engineers; contribute to LLM workflows and integrations.
