Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance production AI capabilities across pharma intelligence. You will design and deploy systems using LLMs and ML, build multi-agent workflows, and develop robust retrieval augmented generation pipelines to deliver high-fidelity insights for clients.

You will collaborate with product partners and other scientists to push AI/ML into content and product engineering, implement MCP servers, and ensure scalable, observable services with modern

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs and generative AI.
• Proven ability to deploy production-grade AI systems.
• Proficiency with LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Strong Python and data library skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-ready AI systems using LLMs and ML.
• Build multi-agent workflows and orchestration frameworks.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines with vector databases.
• Implement MCP servers for safe data access by LLMs.
• Architect scalable APIs and microservices (FastAPI).
• Collaborate with product teams to identify AI opportunities.
• Research and implement algorithms to solve business problems.
• Implement testing to manage hallucination risks and monitor systems.
• Contribute to the data science platform and stay current with advances.
