Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and deploy production-grade AI solutions across pharma intelligence. You will build multi-agent workflows, LLM-based pipelines, and robust microservices to deliver high‑fidelity insights.

You will work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and other tools to orchestrate AI tasks, ensure data safety, and drive product opportunities with strong Python expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications and data-driven solutions.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Deep NLP, DL, Generative AI, LLMs and related AI/ML techniques.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and open-source models.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-ready AI systems leveraging LLMs and ML for pharma intelligence.
• Build and maintain multi-agent systems and orchestration workflows.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines and vector DBs.
• Implement MCP servers to bridge models with data sources.
• Architect scalable APIs and microservices for AI features with low latency.
• Collaborate with product teams to apply AI/ML to content and products.
• Research AI/ML methods to solve business problems and deliver as microservices.
• Implement testing and evaluation to ensure prompt stability and reduce hallucinations.
• Contribute to the common data science platform and stay current with advances.
