UnitedHealth Group seeks a Lead Software Engineer, AI Platforms to drive design and delivery of enterprise AI capabilities. You will lead architecture for agentic systems, LLMs, and generative AI, shaping strategy while delivering production-scale solutions.

You will design scalable, secure AI platforms, establish best practices, and mentor engineers across teams, enabling AI adoption at scale within an AI-first organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years in full-stack, distributed systems, and scalable architecture design.
• 2+ years with TypeScript and Python for AI agents and orchestration.
• 2+ years delivering LLM-based or generative AI solutions in production.
• 1+ years with agentic architectures and orchestration frameworks in production.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical strategy, architecture, and execution of enterprise AI initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure AI platforms including LLM-based apps and multi-agent systems.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and best practices for AI platforms.
• Mentor engineers and promote reusable services and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to translate strategy into AI-enabled solutions.
