Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an applied AI engineer to design, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end AI pipelines across mission-focused systems. You will integrate AI capabilities into production software, automate workflows, and ensure reliability at scale.

You will collaborate with AI model engineers, data engineers, cloud architects, and ISSEs to align AI/ML workflows with security requirements in hybrid compute environments.

Qualifications

• Experience developing with Python or Rust.
• Experience with Git and code versioning.
• Experience with integration of LLMs or agentic workflows within software stacks.
• Experience with containerization or orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• HS diploma or GED plus 6+ years of software or AI/ML engineering experience, or Bachelor's plus 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end AI pipelines for production systems.
• Guide development of mission-critical AI solutions and reproducible pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI model engineers, data engineers, cloud architects, and ISSEs to ensure secure integration.
• Optimize data flow, automate workflows, and ensure monitoring and observability in hybrid compute environments.
