Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions across mission systems. You will work end‑to‑end from data processing to MLOps and integration into operational environments.

You will apply NLP/LLM, CV, and generative AI expertise in a microservice stack, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver production‑grade capabilities in a national security context. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing ML models such as NLP, LLM, CV or RL.
• Experience deploying AI/ML capabilities in a microservice stack.
• Experience building or maintaining production‑grade APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Experience with data processing frameworks and scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models (NLP/LLM, CV, vision) aligned to mission requirements.
• Develop scalable data pipelines to support model training and evaluation.
• Create end‑to‑end production systems (microservices, APIs, automation, cloud/native or edge deployment).
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security, reliability, observability, performance in mind.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify mission needs and define technical approaches.
• Prepare technical documentation and support design reviews.
