Job summary

lululemon is seeking a Senior Manager, AI/ML Engineering to lead a team delivering production‑grade AI/ML solutions across the retail ecosystem. You’ll steer problem framing, training pipelines, model deployment, and MLOps, partnering with data engineering, applied science, product, and business stakeholders.

We require 10–12 years of experience, a CS/ML/math degree, and hands-on ability to design scalable AI systems.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Make architectural decisions for AI/ML systems spanning training, serving, and integration with downstream applications.
• Prioritize AI/ML investments within the team's scope, balancing platform and tooling spend, compute infrastructure, and foundation model adoption.
• Build and maintain the team's AI/ML delivery systems — covering the AI solution pipeline and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across the team's AI/ML engineering work from problem framing through to production stability.
• Set technical direction for the AI/ML engineering capability area.
• Contribute hands-on to AI solution design, model deployment, training infrastructure, and system design problems.
• Establish AI/ML engineering standards for training pipelines, data prep, and model fine-tuning.
• Build and maintain production deployment foundations including CI/CD for ML and monitoring.
