Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to guide the design and implementation of large-scale ML-based solutions across multiple teams.

You will define data strategies, evaluation frameworks, and scalable production serving strategies in collaboration with product, design, and research partners. Qualifications

• 8+ years of track record driving significant impact in the industry.
• Master's degree or equivalent with strategic leadership.
• Experience in AI, ML, DL, NLP and applying them to business problems.
• Expertise in Python and Java or C++, building scalable systems.
• Experience in query understanding and guidance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Guide design/implementation of ML-based solutions across multiple teams.
• Define data strategies, evaluation frameworks, and scalable serving plans.
• Drive cross-team technical discussions with product/design/research leads.
• Stay current with AI trends including large language models and generative AI.
• Lead data analysis to identify patterns and inform direction.
• Adopt Agentic AI practices to improve product and system outcomes.
