Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer in Mountain View, CA to lead design and implementation of large-scale ML-based solutions across multiple teams.

You will shape data strategies ground knowledge, evaluation frameworks, and scalable production serving while driving cross-team alignment with product and design. Qualifications

• 8+ years of track record driving significant impact in the industry with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math or related field, or equivalent work experience with a proven record of strategic technical leadership.
• Expertise in AI, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and applying these technologies to strategic business problems.
• Proficiency in Python and Java or C++, guiding scalable and robust system development.

Responsibilities

• Guide design and implementation of large-scale ML-based solutions across multiple teams.
• Define overarching technical requirements and data strategies for production serving.
• Lead cross-team technical discussions to align product, design, and research.
• Stay current with AI trends, including LLMs and generative AI, and guide adoption based on data principles.
• Drive data analysis to identify patterns and influence strategic development with product partners.
• Advise on responsible and scalable AI development practices.
