Job summary

CFD Research, based in Huntsville with a Dayton presence, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions that modernize mission systems. You will lead end-to-end development from data processing to MLOps, integrating NLP/LLMs, CV, and scalable services into production environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A active TS/SCI clearance is required, along with 5+ years of ML experience, cloud and container experience, and a track

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years building ML models (NLP/LLM, CV, or generative AI).
• Production APIs, microservices, and distributed systems experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and containerization in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models including NLP/LLM pipelines and computer vision.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Develop end-to-end production systems with microservices and cloud-native or edge deployment.
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security, reliability, and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support accreditation/security processes.
