Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered applications in production environments. You will build RAG solutions, using embeddings, vector databases, and information retrieval techniques, while maintaining model lifecycle governance.

The role requires 8+ years in AI/ML, with at least 4+ years focused on AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, plus experience with Databricks, SageMaker, MLflow, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud-native tech.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior AI/ML Engineer.

Position Type: W2 Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Onsite in Jersey City, NJ

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered and agentic AI applications in production environments.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using embeddings, vector databases, and information retrieval techniques.
• Develop, train, evaluate, monitor, and maintain machine learning models throughout the model lifecycle.
• Establish AI governance practices including guardrails, tracing, model evaluations, monitoring, and retraining strategies.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Implement scalable AI and ML solutions using cloud-native technologies and containerized environments.
• Utilize Databricks, SageMaker, MLflow, and related MLOps tools for model development and lifecycle management.
• Design and manage structured and unstructured data architectures using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have: 8+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with at least 4+ years focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Strong experience building production‑grade LLM or Agentic AI applications.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience developing pricing, revenue management, demand forecasting, or elasticity models.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range*: Between $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
