Job summary

RIVA Solutions is seeking an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer to support the USPTO P-TACTS program, focusing on production AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, RAG, and scalable cloud deployments in Databricks and AWS.

You will work with government stakeholders and technical teams to translate mission needs into maintainable applications, leveraging your 5+ years of ML/AI experience and strong Python and cloud skills in a fast-paced federal government context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of applied ML and AI engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• Cloud deployment experience with AWS or GCP, including ML workloads.
• Experience with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Eligible to obtain USPTO Public Trust and work in the U.S.
• Databricks/AWS/GCP ML certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI/ML solutions.
• Focus on large language models, RAG, and scalable cloud deployments (Databricks/AWS).
