Job summary

micro1 is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our team and advance government-focused AI infrastructure. You will work on secure, scalable ML systems leveraging LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration, collaborating with cross-functional experts and frontier AI platforms.

You will design production-grade AI/ML models, build robust data pipelines, and deploy solutions across regulated cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, and Azure IL5+.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development with REST APIs.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG, and production prompt engineering.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and related frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of secure coding and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services in regulated environments.
• Strong data pipelines, ETL, ontologies, and metadata catalogs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize AI/ML models using LLMs and RAG.
• Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems with LangGraph/LangChain.
• Deploy solutions on secure cloud environments (Gov clouds, Vertex AI, Bedrock).
• Build data pipelines, ETL processes, and metadata catalogs for AI training.
• Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams; follow CI/CD.
• Document decisions and translate complex concepts for stakeholders.
