Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced AI & ML Engineer to train, test, deploy, and maintain AI capabilities across Army mission sets. You will lead solution direction, collaborate with AI/ML architects, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver world-class AI and automation for real-world defense problems.

Reqs include 5+ years in OO languages, 3+ years ML/NLP, and a Secret clearance. This role offers a path to impactful work on cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-scale data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OO language experience (Python, C, C++, Go, Rust, Java, or Haskell).
• 4+ years building software for extracting and processing structured/unstructured data.
• 3+ years applying data science, NLP, or ML models.
• 3+ years coding dataframes with Pandas, PySpark, or similar.
• 2+ years delivering enterprise-scale data science apps.
• 2+ years working with ML/AI tooling and MLOps.
• Knowledge of common data formats (JSON, Parquet, Avro, CSV).
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML solution direction using best-fit techniques.
• Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI capabilities across mission sets.
• Collaborate with AI/ML solution architects, data engineers, and scientists.
• Help define AI/ML strategy for Army enterprise clients.
