Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions across mission systems. You will work on NLP, LLMs, CV, and reinforcement learning, building scalable data pipelines and production services in a security-conscious environment.

This role requires 5+ years of ML experience, microservice architectures, and experience deploying APIs and distributed systems. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing ML models such as NLP or LLM, CV, deep learning, generative AI, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience with microservice stacks for AI/ML capabilities.
• Experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with data processing and scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience deploying software systems in operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models including NLP, LLM-based pipelines, deep learning architectures, and computer vision models.
• Build scalable data pipelines to support training, evaluation, and model improvement.
• Develop end-to-end production systems with microservices, APIs, and cloud-native or edge deployments.
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments emphasizing security, reliability, and performance.
• Perform model optimization, tuning, versioning, and AB testing for mission impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical approaches with mission needs.
• Prepare technical documentation and support design reviews.
