Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions across national security missions. You will work on data processing, model development, MLOps, and integration into operational environments, with emphasis on NLP/LLMs, CV, and generative AI.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply modern software engineering practices, and operate within a trusted security framework, including TS/SCI clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience developing ML models (NLP/LLMs, CV, DL, generative AI, or RL).
• Experience operating ML in a microservice stack.
• Production-grade APIs and distributed systems experience.
• Experience with data processing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Design/deploy software systems in operational environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models (NLP, LLM pipelines, CV) per mission needs.
• Build scalable data pipelines for training and evaluation.
• Develop end-to-end production systems with microservices and APIs.
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security and reliability.
• Model optimization, versioning, and AB testing for impact.
• Follow modern software engineering patterns across languages and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements.
• Prepare technical docs and support design reviews.
