GlobalFoundries seeks an experienced Senior/Principal CI/CD Engineer to lead the strategy and implementation of enterprise-scale delivery infrastructure for AI/ML and hardware-software co-development environments.

You will own pipelines, collaborate with distributed teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, and drive modernization of build and delivery capabilities in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–10 years in CI/CD, automation, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or SRE, including building infra for software products.
• Hands-on experience building reliable, scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory.
• Strong programming and scripting in Shell, Python, and Groovy.
• Experience with source-code management practices and branching for complex workflows.
• Experience creating, deploying, and managing containerized build environments with Podman.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Grafana.
• Experience with Linux compute clusters or grid schedulers (SGE/UGE/SLURM/LSF).
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows software development environments.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end CI/CD strategy and automation for globally distributed software teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Configure CI/CD workflows interfacing with emulation, simulation, embedded hardware, and validation platforms.
• Define and maintain branching/release strategies for complex product cycles.
• Develop and maintain containerized build environments and test runners with Podman.
• Collaborate with IT to manage Linux/Windows compute servers, grids, and shared storage (NFS/CIFS).
• Build dashboards and alerts in Grafana to monitor pipeline health and performance.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, verification, validation, and infra teams globally.
