Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an early-career AI Software Engineer to bridge cutting-edge ML capabilities and scalable software production. You will build, optimize, test, and deploy AI models within an AI platform while collaborating with software, ML, and hardware teams.

You will design APIs, implement maintainable components, and own technical documentation and benchmarks to communicate results and trade-offs to cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one major ML framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Strong OO programming fundamentals and version control experience (GitLab/GitHub).
• Able to navigate ambiguous problems and communicate trade-offs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, deploy, test, and scale ML models in production-oriented AI pipelines.
• Profile latency, memory usage, throughput, and optimize AI inference for edge or cloud.
