Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Lead - Semantic Layer, remote, to define the strategy and roadmap for enterprise semantic data and data connectivity.

You will own the product lifecycle, partner with IT and business leaders, and drive adoption of data-centric AI capabilities across the organization. You will lead a team to build scalable data models, ontologies, and a semantic layer that unifies customers, policies, and claims data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, including delivering data or data platform products.
• Demonstrable ability to lead others directly or indirectly (3+ years).
• Own products end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance measurement (insurance/regulated industry preferred).
• Experience with ontologies, semantic data models, or knowledge graphs.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data systems or data integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise semantic data and data connectivity.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to identify high-value data opportunities across systems.
• Lead development of enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, and data models; establish scalable semantic layer.
• Collaborate with data engineering, EA, and AI/ML teams to translate concepts into scalable implementations.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and iteration.
• Define requirements, success metrics, and release plans; measure adoption and impact.
