Job summary

T-Mobile US Inc. is seeking an AI Governance Specialist to drive intake assessments of new AI tools and model deployments. You will determine data touchpoints, risks, and which partner teams must review requests for SOX, TPRM, Cyber, Data Privacy, and Legal approvals.

You will guide efficient risk-based decisions, escalate high-complexity items, and build strong relationships with governance bodies. This role offers exposure to enterprise AI initiatives and a path to senior governance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 3 years.
• Field: Computer Science or related; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 4-7 years related work experience required.
• Experience evaluating technology requests for enterprise risk.
• Knowledge of SOX, third-party risk, cybersecurity, or data privacy reviews.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI and generative AI systems and data usage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI intake: assess technology, data, and risk.
• Engage SOX, TPRM, Cyber, Data Privacy, and Legal for reviews and approvals.
• Collaborate with IT and partner teams to analyze impacts and risks.
• Maintain complete intake records and AI inventory alignment.
• Contribute to AI governance standards and provide audit evidence.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
