Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to architect and operate EY’s AI-native platform substrate, spanning bare-metal to cloud, Kubernetes, and multi-tenant systems. You’ll own the infrastructure foundations, including GPU/DPU, OS provisioning, and secure, scalable runtimes for Agentic AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and full cluster lifecycle management.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and ideally air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking (Cilium/CNI), storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM, GPU operators).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record operating production infrastructure under compliance and security constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, scheduling, multi-tenancy.
• Manage infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, DPU, NVAIE for GPUs.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Deliver platform capabilities such as Infrastructure Management, Kubernetes, and Cluster Fabric Management.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling, and isolation boundaries.
• Ensure secure execution and inference with sandboxed environments for isolated model runs.
• Collaborate on CI/CD and GitOps to keep environments reproducible and drift-free.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and cross-environment replication.
