Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect Academic to deploy and validate AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments and collaborate with design teams and customers on large-scale deployments. You will document handovers, transfer knowledge, and help optimize systems with diagnostic feedback.

The role requires 6+ years of deployment experience, strong Linux and networking skills, and familiarity with InfiniBand, benchmarking tools, and automation. Travel within the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services for hardware and software products.
• Experience in Linux system administration/DevOps, process management, package management, task scheduling, kernel management, boot procedures, troubleshooting, performance reporting/optimization/logging, and network routing/advanced networking.
• Experience configuring/validating LAN and InfiniBand networking, including validation tools (ibdiag) and UFM.
• Experience with benchmarking tools such as HPL, NCCL tests, MLPERF.
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python) and automation tooling (Ansible, Puppet).
• Familiarity with schedulers such as SLURM, LSF, UGE; Kubernetes experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to deliver resolutions; willing to travel within the United States.
• Minimum four-year degree in CS/EE/CE or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and validate AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for NVIDIA hardware.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams and customers from planning calls through implementation.
• Create and hand over documentation and perform knowledge transfers for large-scale rollouts.
• Provide feedback to internal teams by reporting bugs, workarounds, and improvement suggestions.
