Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an HPC Deployment Manager to lead deployment of InfiniBand and Ethernet across Customer AI HPC systems. You will supervise a cross-functional team of AI and HPC experts, guiding planning, validation, and operational readiness.

The role emphasizes customer-facing leadership, deep HPC storage and interconnect knowledge, and driving improvements in service delivery while building strong partnerships with NVIDIA leaders and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT/HPC or related field.
• 3+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Expertise in HPC systems design, configuration and planning with HPC storage.
• Proficiency with low latency/high-bandwidth interconnects (InfiniBand and Ethernet).
• Experience with HPC software cluster management/provisioning tools and schedulers (Slurm, salt, xCAT).
• Proficiency in shared memory parallelism (MPI/OpenMP) and GPUs.
• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python).
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration (CentOS, Solaris).
• Ability to work with large, sophisticated systems and troubleshoot performance/network issues.
• Multi-vendor hardware/software management and security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the service HPC engineering functions for Customer AI HPC systems.
• Leads planning, implementation and performance of HPC projects; improves system bring-up and maintenance.
• Drives deployment, creates procedures for system validation.
• Leads tests and plans for customer HPC AI implementations and testing procedures.
• Supports strategy for delivering service quality and continuous improvement.
• Leads team development and career growth within the group.
• Builds relationships with NVIDIA leaders, customers and partners to support AI solutions.
• Serves as domain authority during planning calls through implementation.
