Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an HPC Deployment Manager to supervise the deployment of InfiniBand and Ethernet-based HPC infrastructure for AI and data-center projects in the U.S. and beyond.

You will lead a team of AI/HPC experts, drive project planning, validation, and ongoing service quality across customers and internal teams. The role requires 10+ years in IT/HPC with 3+ years in management, strong networking, Linux admin, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall IT/HPC or related field; 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in HPC systems design/configuration and HPC storage.
• Proficiency with low latency/high-bandwidth interconnects (Infiniband/Ethernet).
• Experience with HPC cluster management/provisioning tools and schedulers (Slurm, Salt, xCAT).
• Proficiency with OpenMP, MPI, NCCL, HPL and GPUs.
• Strong scripting in Bash, Perl, Python; programming fundamentals.
• Administration/maintenance of secure Linux/Unix systems (CentOS, Solaris).
• Ability to manage large, complex systems and troubleshoot network issues.
• Experience with multi-vendor hardware/software management, security, and network protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises HPC engineering functions for AI HPC systems.
• Leads planning, implementation, and performance of HPC projects.
• Drives hardware/software deployment and validation procedures.
• Leads testing and plans for HPC AI system implementations and scripts.
• Supports the HPC Engineering team and drives service quality improvements.
• Leads team development and career growth initiatives.
• Builds relationships with NVIDIA leaders, customers, and partners.
• Acts as domain authority during planning calls through implementation.
