Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer to serve as a Factory Quality Engineer for OCI hardware platforms, supporting AI infrastructure from NPI through ramp and sustaining shipment in Santa Clara.

You will monitor factory quality performance, drive containment, RCCA follow-up, and corrective actions with manufacturing partners and Oracle engineering to reduce risk and ensure test coverage and readiness for OK-to-Ramp decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, supplier quality, product quality, hardware quality, reliability engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of factory quality processes and metrics (IQC/OQC/OBA/yield/FPY).
• Ability to apply structured root-cause/corrective-action methodologies (8D/5-Why/FMEA/DOE).

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory quality performance across products and sites (IQC/OQC/OBA, yield, FPY).
• Analyze quality signals to identify risks before ramp or shipment and drive containment.
• Lead RCCA follow-up, corrective actions, and validation with partners and Oracle teams.
• Ensure escapes and rework risks are documented, owned, and closed.
• Review factory test coverage to detect known failure modes before shipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and supplier teams to reduce yield gaps and churn.
