Job summary

Oracle seeks a Principal Supply Chain Engineer - Factory Quality to join its Quality organization in Texas. You will ensure IQC, OQC, OBA, and field quality across complex hardware products, driving RCCA and containment with manufacturing partners to secure ramp readiness and OK-to-Ramp decisions.

You will work closely with California-based manufacturing partners and cross-functional engineering teams to translate quality data into actionable risk-based recommendations and robust manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, supplier quality, product quality, hardware quality, or reliability engineering.
• Strong knowledge of IQC, OQC, OBA, factory test flows, yield metrics, pareto analysis, retest rates, and corrective-action processes.
• Ability to apply RCCA methodologies and drive fact-based problem resolution with partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory quality performance across products and sites, including IQC, OQC, OBA, yield and retest metrics.
• Identify emerging risks and containment gaps before ramp or shipment.
• Lead RCCA, containment, and corrective-action validation with manufacturing partners and Oracle engineering teams.
• Document and track process escapes, rework risks, and ownership until verified closure.
• Review test coverage to ensure known failure modes are detected prior to shipment.
• Validate effectiveness of OBA controls for workmanship, configuration, labeling, packaging, and documentation.
