Job summary

Oracle seeks a Senior Supply Chain Engineer acting as a Factory Quality Engineer for OCI hardware platforms. You will drive factory quality execution from NPI through ramp and sustainment, focusing on AI infrastructure and cutting‑edge ramps for 2026/2027.

You will translate quality signals into risks and actions, collaborate with hardware engineering, manufacturing, test, and supplier teams, and ensure issues are understood, contained, and closed, guiding OK‑to‑Ramp/OK‑to‑Ship decisions with

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, supplier quality, product quality, hardware quality, reliability engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of factory quality processes and metrics such as IQC, OQC, OBA, and RCCA.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA).

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory quality performance across products and sites (IQC, OQC, OBA, yield, FPY, APY).
• Analyze quality signals to identify risks, containment gaps, and customer escape risks before ramp/ship.
• Drive containment, data review, RCCA follow-up, corrective actions with partners and teams.
• Ensure escapes, rework risks, test instability, and recurring failures are documented and owned to closure.
• Review test coverage to confirm known failure modes are detectable before shipment.
• Evaluate OBA effectiveness in identifying workmanship, configuration, labeling, packaging, and documentation issues.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Test teams to reduce yield gaps and production-line failures.
• Build and maintain factory quality risk registers with containment status and closure dates.
• Support readiness reviews and executive quality updates with clear data and risk assessments.
